TARA AUCLAIR REJOINS CRESCENDO CONSULTING GROUP
Practice to Focus on Supporting Behavioral Health Collaborative and Other Health-Related Projects
Portland, Maine & Coral Gables, Fla. – August 18, 2020 – Tara Auclair recently rejoined Crescendo Consulting Group in Portland, Maine, as a Senior Consultant. A Coral Gables, Florida, resident, Tara is a marketing, communications and public relations strategist with experience working in health IT, hospital, medical societies, non-profit, private practice, ad agency and consulting sectors.
With Tara’s strong background in healthcare, her practice will primarily focus on supporting the Harbor Performance Initiative, a collaboration of leading behavioral health organizations who share the goal of delivering excellent outcomes and increased value in behavioral health care, as well as other health-related projects including Community Health Needs Assessments, or CHNAs.

Before joining Crescendo, Tara managed public relations and communications for Modernizing Medicine, a fast-growing health IT company based in Boca Raton, Fla. She held responsibility for the planning, strategy and execution of public relations and community relations, media relations, social media, crisis communications and the customer reference program.
Additionally, Tara’s past experience includes developing and executing strategic marketing plans; planning regional healthcare summits, charity award luncheons and galas; membership sales for country clubs and resorts; human resources and employee training; and researching the benefits and best practices of innovative workplaces.
Tara previously worked for Crescendo where she served as the Marketing and Member Services Manager for the Maine Health Management Coalition (now the Healthcare Purchaser Alliance of Maine) to maximize the improvement in the value of healthcare services delivered in Maine and help employees of this employer-driven initiative become more educated healthcare consumers.
In her free time, Tara sits on the Board of Directors of the Alzheimer’s Association, Southeast Florida Chapter and serves as the Co-Chair of the Board. In addition, she actively participates in state and federal advocacy endeavors to improve the lives of patients and caregivers affected by Alzheimer’s Disease and other dementia, and she serves as the volunteer Chair of The Longest Day.
Tara earned her undergraduate degree from Tulane University in New Orleans with a BA in English and a Minor in Sociology. Tara graduated from Boston University with an MBA.
